The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod Offering Assistance to Government Workers Affected by Shutdown

Hyannis, MA (January 17, 2019) — The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod is responding to the Federal Government shutdown by offering financial assistance to government employees who are impacted by it.
The bank is now offering a special, zero-interest loan to federal employees who live or work on the Cape and Islands.  The loan is available to current bank customers or new ones who open a checking account with the bank.
The Coop is also offering assistance to those government employees facing hardship with their mortgage payments and based on the situation, may be able to offer payment deferrals.
