SOUTH YARMOUTH—The Fund for Sandwich of The Cape Cod Foundation recently awarded a total of $3,907 to six nonprofit organizations serving the Sandwich community.
“This year, we were able to increase the grant awards by more than 15%,” said Dr. Madeleine Wing Adler, a member of the Advisory Committee.  “With continued community support, we will be able to expand our assistance to the nonprofit organizations serving Sandwich residents every year.”
This is the fund’s third year of grantmaking.  It was established in 2015 to build a permanent endowment for the town through private donations. Each year, the fund will award grants to nonprofit organizations that improve and enhance the quality of life in the community.
