Cape Cod Young Professionals, Inc. (CCYP), a nonprofit organization that works to connect, engage, and advance Cape Cod’s young workforce and future leaders, will host the 12th Annual Back to Business Bash on Thursday, September 20 at the Barnstable Airport (480 Barnstable Rd., Hyannis) from 5:30 – 8:30 PM. The event is presented by the Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod.
Tickets for the Back to Business Bash go on sale Wednesday, August 1 at $40 per ticket for CCYP members and $60 for the public. Beginning September 1, all tickets will be $75 each. Tickets can be purchased through the CCYP website at www.capecodyoungprofessionals.org/Bash.
The Back to Business Bash is the most highly anticipated networking event on Cape Cod, attracting nearly 1,000 attendees each year. The event is an extraordinary opportunity to connect with fellow community members and colleagues while enjoying the best that Cape Cod has to offer in food, drink, and fun. Bash attendees will have the opportunity to sample food and beverages from more than 20 local vendors and visit around 30 exhibitor booths with games and giveaways. Singer Chantal Joseph will provide the night’s live music, courtesy of the Bash Live Entertainment Sponsor, Seamen’s Bank.
The Bash Bubbly & Wine Pull Fundraiser will return to this year’s event, with proceeds supporting CCYP’s annual Career Connect Scholarship, a fund of the Cape Cod Foundation. CCYP has set a goal to raise $2,500 through the Wine Pull, all of which will directly benefit the scholarship fund. Wine Pull tickets are $20 each, redeemable on the night of the Bash. To participate, attendees will select a numbered cork at random and take home the bottle with the corresponding number. All bottles are valued at $20 or greater. Donations of wine to support the Wine Pull are currently being accepted. Visit www.capecodyoungprofessionals.org/Bash to learn more.
New this year, the Job Center @ the Bash will offer an interactive job and volunteer board display to help event attendees to find their next employment or volunteer opportunity, on-site at the event. The Center will also feature an “Ask an HR Rep Station” to connect Cape-based hiring managers and Human Resources officials with prospective job seekers. The Job Center @ the Bash is sponsored by the Cape & Islands Job Fair 2018, in partnership with the Cape & Islands United Way.
The Back to Business Bash is generously presented by The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod. Additional sponsorship support is provided by Cape Cod Five, Cape Cod Healthcare, Barnstable Airport, Boardwalk Business Group, Cape Associates, Inc., Cape Cod Beer, CapeCodRadio.com, CCB Media, Convention Data Services, Kinlin Grover Real Estate, and Rogers & Gray Insurance.
