Barnstable, MA – A limited number of tickets are still available for the Cape Cod Young Professionals, Inc. (CCYP) 13th Annual Back to Business Bash, set for next Thursday, September 19 at the Barnstable Airport (480 Barnstable Road, Hyannis) from 5:30 – 8:30 PM. Tickets are $80 and can be purchased through CCYP’s website at www.capecodyoungprofessionals.org/Bash. Proceeds benefit CCYP’s year-round work to connect, engage, and advance Cape Cod’s young workforce and future leaders.
The “Bash” is CCYP’s biggest event of the year, drawing hundreds of attendees for a night of live music, local food, drink, and fun. The event will feature an array of food vendors, including a raw bar from Osterville Fish, several restaurants that are new to the Bash (Anejo Mexican Bistro, Cleat & Anchor, Mom & Pops Burgers, Paradise Pizza, Washashore Bakery), and many returning favorites (Cape Cod Coffee, Original Gourmet Brunch, Pizza Barbone, Polar Cave, Scargo Café, Smith Family Popcorn, and the West End).
Additionally, this year’s Back to Business Bash is bringing together an assortment of both new and established Cape-based craft breweries, wineries, and distilleries. Premier, full pour service will be provided by local breweries Cape Cod Beer and Hog Island Beer Co. A new tasting table will offer sample-size pours from 6A Brewing, Barnstable Brewing, Devil’s Purse, and Shoal Hope Ciderworks. Attendees will enjoy wine and spirits from vendors Truro Vineyards, Cape & Islands Distillers, and Paradise Liquors. An assortment of non-alcoholic beverage options will also be available, courtesy of Coca Cola and Vermont Pure.
As attendees partake in the best the Cape has to offer in food and beverages, they will connect with friends and colleagues while perusing nearly 30 local business and nonprofit exhibitors. During the event, CCYP will be conducting mobile interviews for the organization’s new My Cape Cod Story project, an initiative that seeks to share the stories of real young people who have chosen to make their lives and careers on Cape Cod. Photos and content from the interviews will be shared on the @mycapecodstory Instagram page and a newly launched website at www.mycapecodstory.org following the event.
The Bubbly & Wine Pull Fundraiser will return to this year’s event, with proceeds supporting CCYP’s annual Career Connect Scholarship, a fund of The Cape Cod Foundation. CCYP has set a fundraising goal for the Wine Pull of $2,500, all of which will directly benefit the scholarship fund. Wine Pull tickets are $20 each, redeemable on the night of the Bash. To participate, attendees will exchange their ticket for a numbered cork and take home the bottle with the corresponding number. All bottles are valued at $20 or greater, with a number of high-value bottles available. The Career Connect Scholarship provides a boost to local workers in any industry seeking to sustain their lives and careers on Cape Cod year-round through higher education, certification, or credentialing programs. To learn more about the Career Connect Scholarship visit www.capecodyoungprofessionals.org.
The Back to Business Bash is generously presented by Cape Cod Healthcare.
