Twelve Graduate From EforAll South Coast Accelerator Program

Twelve new businesses celebrated the culmination of a 12-week intensive Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll) Summer 2020 Accelerator Program in a virtual graduation held Sept. 9.

The entrepreneurs showcased their products and services virtually via a platform called REMO. More than 60 people attended virtually. EforAll awarded $10,500 to six entrepreneurs.

Bonnie Souza, owner of the Pink Bean, delivered a powerful and inspiring keynote speech, reminding entrepreneurs that nothing about entrepreneurship is easy.

Accelerator participant Carrie Ann Chandonnait, founder of High Society Vegan, was chosen by her classmates to deliver a speech on behalf of her accelerator colleagues.

The winners of the $10,500 were:

Fieldstone Kombucha: $3,000; Emily Mellgard of Dartmouth, a small batch, seasonal kombucha on tap for restaurants, and other eateries;

New Bedford Performing Arts Center: $2,500, Neenah Cruz, New Bedford, a center of empowerment and inclusivity for children wanting to dance, act, sing and more;

13 Stars: $2,000, Sean Maloney & Eli Cady, Cranston, R.I., a hot sauce company that combines heat with flavor and whose profits support Veterans and First Responders;

STYLR: $1,500, Brandan Burke, Grantham Bethea & DeVaughn Senna, New Bedford;  an app that matches beauty professionals with clients for in-home service;

POP Culture – Cake Pops, Cookies, and other Confections: $1,000, Lisa Petrizzi-Geller, Berkely,  handcrafted, specialty cake pops and other confections;

$500 Christina Hamilton Award Recipient : New Bedford Performing Arts Center.
