Zudy, the digital transformation company with a revolutionary no-code platform known as Vinyl Software®, announced today their new advanced training facility and AppFactory on Cape Cod. Zudy now occupies the former headquarters of BackOffice Associates, a software and services company built by Zudy founders Tom and Trish Kennedy, and sold to Goldman Sachs in 2012. With high product demand and the explosive growth of the company, Zudy plans to add 350 new jobs by the end of 2018. Approximately 100 of the jobs will be located in the new Cape Cod office in the areas of application development, training, consulting, sales/marketing and finance.
To celebrate the official opening of the Cape Cod training location, Zudy is hosting an Open House on Wednesday, June 28th, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the new office located at 940 Route 28 in South Harwich. The Open House is for local businesses, community leaders and Zudy customers, including Brooks Brothers, Stericycle, DXL, Kraft Group/New England Patriots, Cape Medical Supply, Mid-Cape Home Centers and others, along with members of the World Champion New England Patriots team. Press is welcome to attend.
“It’s a great day to be part of the Cape Cod community when a local business announces they are thriving and expanding,” said Harwich Board of Selectmen Chair, Mike MacAskill. “Time and time again, under the Kennedy’s leadership, the Cape proves to be an area where innovation happens – the growth that both BackOffice Associates experienced and now Zudy’s rapid expansion is a testament to this fact. I’m thrilled to see another tech company call Cape Cod home.”
“We’re extremely excited to have such dynamic entrepreneurs as Tom and Trish Kennedy back in Harwich with yet another diverse and cutting edge business in Zudy,” said Cyndi Williams, Executive Director at the Harwich Chamber of Commerce. “We look forward to our future partnership in the growing economic development of ‘our’ Harwich, together.”
“The Cape and Harwich provided an exceptional environment for our growing business, and we are thrilled to return to this special location,” said Zudy COO, Trish Kennedy. “Some of the largest global companies in the world will train and build applications in our Harwich training center using our revolutionary no-code platform, Vinyl.”
