Housing Assistance to Hold Info Session for Two-Bedroom Condominium in Sandwich
A new condominium on Brightside Lane will be available through a lottery for qualified applicants.
Housing Assistance invites potential homeowners to a virtual info session for a new condominium in Sandwich on Thursday, October 15, at 6:00 p.m. Interested homebuyers can register for the info session, which will be held on Zoom, at haconcapecod.org/lotteries.
The brand new two-bedroom, one and a half-bathroom condo is located on Brightside Lane in Sandwich. Features include fully electric heat, air conditioning, hot water, and appliances.
Housing Assistance is overseeing the lottery selection process. The condominium home will be sold for $265,800 (with an $80 monthly HOA fee) to eligible applicants whose income does not exceed 80% of Area Median Income (AMI) for Barnstable County. First time homebuyer, income, and asset restrictions apply. 1-person: $79,100; 2-persons: $90,400; 3-persons: $101,700; and 4-persons: $112,950. Household assets must be less than $75,000.
Applications for the lottery can be found online at haconcapecod.org/properties/brightside-lane-condominium/. Printed copies are available at Housing Assistance’s offices in Hyannis, Cataumet, and Orleans.
The deadline to apply is Friday, November 13 at 5:00 p.m. The lottery drawing will be held within 30 days of the application deadline.
