Rockland Trust Appoints Brian Mason as Leader for Non-profit Banking Division

Peabody, MA – December 18, 2024—Rockland Trust has appointed Brian Mason as Senior Vice President, Team Leader for the Bank’s growing Non-profit Banking Team. In this newly created role, Mason will oversee a division of commercial bankers committed to developing customized financial solutions for non-profit organizations throughout New England.

For more than 16 years, Mason has worked in the financial services industry in Boston. For 12 of those years, he served as Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager within the Non-for-Profit Banking Group at M&T Bank (formerly People’s United Bank). In that role, Mason led the team and managed a portfolio of clients in the non-profit, education, and healthcare sectors.

Mason earned his Bachelor of Science in finance and accounting and Master of Science in Accounting from Bentley University in Waltham. He serves as the Chair of the Endowment Committee and Member-at-large for the North Shore Community College Foundation Board. In addition, Mason sits on the County Leadership Council for the Essex County Community Foundation as well as the Finance Committee for Bishop Fenwick High School and belongs to the Trustee Associate Committee for Saint John’s Preparatory School.
