Orleans, MA – The Town of Orleans has launched a new survey to gather feedback from local business owners and operators as part of its continued commitment to strengthening and supporting the local economy. The survey is a foundational step in providing meaningful support to Orleans businesses and will directly inform the Town’s economic development agenda in the months and years ahead.
The Town is seeking input from all types of businesses – year-round, seasonal, storefront, and home-based – across every sector of the local economy. The survey covers topics such as infrastructure, permitting, broadband, workforce, and Orleans’ overall business environment.
“This survey is an opportunity to hear directly from the people who drive our local economy – those who take the risks, create jobs, serve our community, and shape the character of Orleans,” said Amanda Converse, Economic Development Coordinator for the Town of Orleans. “Their input is not only valuable – it’s essential. The more we understand the challenges and opportunities they face, the better equipped we are to build an environment where businesses can grow and thrive.”
The Town encourages all business owners to participate and to share the survey with their networks. Responses will be collected through June 30, and the results will help guide future investments, programming, and policy decisions that support a resilient and inclusive business ecosystem.
