WE CAN Expands Legal and Financial Empowerment Services to Falmouth Service Center in Honor of 25th Anniversary: Grateful for Partnership and Collaboration!

FALMOUTH, MA — As WE CAN launches its 25th anniversary this year, the Cape Cod–based nonprofit is expanding its reach on the Upper Cape by providing services in partnership with the Falmouth Service Center.
The expansion brings two of WE CAN’s most in-demand services, one-on-one legal consultations and financial empowerment coaching and workshops, closer to women living and working in Falmouth, Bourne, Mashpee and Sandwich. The move reflects both a growing need for accessible, confidential support and WE CAN’s long-standing mission to empower women as they navigate life transitions, career changes, financial insecurity, and other challenges.
“For 25 years, WE CAN has been committed to meeting women where they are,” said Lisa Guyon, Executive Director of WE CAN. “Expanding services to Falmouth allows us to better serve women on the Upper Cape by reducing barriers to access.”
WE CAN’s Legal Services provide women with free, confidential consultations with volunteer attorneys on matters such as family law, housing, employment, immigration matters, and more. Financial Empowerment services include one-on-one coaching and educational workshops designed to help women build financial confidence, stability, and long-term independence.
Beth Bowman, Program Director at WE CAN, noted that demand for these services continues to grow. “Women are seeking practical tools and trusted guidance as they make important decisions for themselves and their families. Bringing these services to Falmouth ensures more women can access support close to home. We are grateful for our long-standing relationship with the Falmouth Service Center for making this collaboration possible.”
Kerin Delaney, Executive Director of Falmouth Service Center said, “We absolutely love our partnership with WE CAN. They bring critical services and resources to our mutual clients. Having them here at FSC, using our community partner space, allows our clients who might not be able to go to Hyannis or Harwich Port to utilize WE CAN’s services.”
The Falmouth expansion is one of several initiatives planned as part of WE CAN’s 25th anniversary year, marking a quarter century of free and confidential services supporting women across Cape Cod.
