Road to Responsibility to Open Residential Home in Braintree

New site expands group home portfolio to 52 locations
 
MARSHFIELD, BRAINTREE, MA, ISSUED MARCH 25, 2026… Road to Responsibility (RTR; http://roadtoresponsibility.org), one of the region’s largest and most successful nonprofit organizations supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is excited to announce its first residential home in Braintree, further expanding its services within the town.
 
RTR, which also operates a Community Based Day program in Braintree, recently purchased a house in the South Shore community to support five individuals whose medical needs have changed. The residence will provide single-floor living and similar to other RTR residential programs, it will offer a supportive environment with a wide range of services, 24-hour staffing, and independent living options, including smart technology.
 
RTR has grown significantly over the past year, opening new group homes in Marshfield, Brockton, and Taunton. The Braintree residential program will mark its 52nd  location.
