The 18th Annual Quahog Day Celebration will be held Saturday, June 20th! As we usher in the first day of summer, Doug will once again come out of his shell to predict the number of Cape Cod beach days for Summer 2026.
Join Doug this year at Shipwrecked in Falmouth, overlooking Falmouth Heights Beach, where the tides of celebration turn festive beginning at 1:00 PM.
Perched proudly in his trusty clamming basket and guarded by his loyal security team (no small fry allowed!), Doug will clam up and whisper his sunny forecast to Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce CEO Paul Niedzwiecki. The 2026 emcee will be Doug Meehan, a native Cape Codder and beloved co-anchor of WCVB’s EyeOpener newscast—truly a perfect pearl for the occasion.
