KINGSTON, MA, ISSUED JUNE 30, 2026…The publishers of the commemorative book Tales of Jones River Village: Kingston’s 300 Years announced today that there will be a limited second printing, due to numerous requests after the first printing sold out.

Ken Brack, Jan Guidoboni and Thomas Vendetti, directors of Kingston 300, Inc., said that the organization will reprint 300 books, available through pre-order, and then on a first-come, first-served basis.

The first edition of Tales of Jones River Village: Kingston’s 300 Years was published in late November 2025, and the 1000 copies sold out within three months of publication.

Responding to community feedback and requests, the directors said that the reprint will be done to satisfy community needs.

The books will sell for $45 each and can be pre-ordered over the GiveButter.com website. The directors explained that the original price for the book was intended to be $55, but due to the generosity of several grants, including $50,000` from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts secured for the group by State Representative Kathy LaNatra, the original book price was reduced to $35.

The reprinting, however, will rely instead on private funding but largely through the sales of the books.

Tales of Jones River Village: Kingston’s 300 Years will be available at several locations in town and also sold through a few events, all of which will be announced later.

This will in all likelihood be the only additional printing of the book, according to the directors. All interested parties are urged to pre-order to be sure to secure a copy. The directors anticipate that the books will be available mid-summer.
