FALMOUTH, MA, January 30, 2024 – The 2024 Falmouth Citizen of the Year nomination forms are now available at the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce, 20 Academy Lane, or by download from the website homepage, falmouthchamber.com. The deadline to submit nominations is February 29, 2024. Only nominations received this year will be reviewed by the Board of Directors. Nominations from previous years must be resubmitted for consideration. Past award winners are listed on the nomination form.
Nominees must live or work in Falmouth, with their community service efforts focused locally. Chamber membership is not required. The Citizen of the Year will be recognized for exceptional, ongoing leadership and service to the Falmouth community over the course of more than a year, beyond the scope of their profession. The award will not be given for a single achievement or activity, no matter how significant. Posthumous nominations will not be accepted.
Completed forms can be submitted to the Chamber office, faxed to 508-548-8521, or emailed to falmouth@falmouthchamber.com. The 2024 Citizen of the Year will be honored after the Chamber’s Annual Meeting on Thursday, May 14, 2024, at the SeaCrest Beach Hotel.
