B.C. Tent & Awning is proud to be a sponsor of the Joshua Kaye Foundation Family Fun Festival.
Now in its 8th year, the event will be held on Sunday, June 1st from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the CATS Academy Campus, 2001 Washington Street in Braintree. The festival will feature local vendors, food trucks, carnival games, and prizes, performers, a touch-a-truck, face painting, and raffles.
The Joshua Kaye Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Braintree, was established by Joshua’s parents, Melissa and Andy, along with his siblings Lauren and Alex, following Joshua’s tragic death at the age of eight in 2014 due to an E.coli infection from contaminated grass-fed ground beef. The Foundation honors Joshua and his deep concern for various issues, including hunger, homelessness, animal welfare, and the environment.
Proceeds from the Family Fun Festival go directly to support the Foundation’s community programs and to families in need. These programs focus on ending hunger, promoting animal welfare, providing educational and enrichment opportunities for children, and empowering youth to make positive changes in their communities.
