Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands Seeking Male Volunteers in Falmouth Waiting Little Campaign Features Angel from Falmouth

Falmouth, Mass. – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands (BBBSCCI) is looking to engage the community in supporting local Falmouth youth waiting for a mentor. This initiative includes BBBSCCI highlighting local youth as part of their “Waiting Little Campaign.”

This month, the campaign features rising first grader, Angel. Angel, 7, has been patiently waiting to be matched with the right Big Brother for over 150 days Angel is an energetic and creative child who loves spending time outdoors and staying active. He enjoys playing sports and games, building and creating things, making arts and crafts, and anything silly and fun. Angel brings enthusiasm and curiosity to everything he does.

Angel is especially interested in learning how to fish, exploring the world of 3D printing, and learning more about sports with a Big Brother who can share his interests and introduce him to new experiences.

“I’d love to have a Big Brother who likes to have fun and teach me new things,” says Angel.

In addition to Angel, there are 104 youth, including 10 boys right here in Falmouth, waiting for a mentor across the Cape, Plymouth & Islands. Becoming a Big is simple, and the agency welcomes adults of all races, ethnicities, cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, and abilities. Volunteers must be 18 years old or older, possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to commit a few hours, twice a month, for at least a year.
