Sean Driscoll brings wealth of aviation knowledge
and experience to management role
HYANNIS, MASS. – The Cape Cod Gateway Airport Commission is pleased to announce the appointment of Sean Driscoll to the position of Assistant Manager. Driscoll, an accomplished aviation professional, joins the Airport following more than a decade with the Broward (Fla.) County Aviation Department, which oversees operation of the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the United States, handling more than 35 million passengers annually.
A licensed commercial pilot, Driscoll brings a wealth of diverse knowledge and experience to the assistant manager position. In his previous role as Airside/Regulatory Compliance Manager for the Broward County Aviation Department, Driscoll compiled a proven track record in several important functional areas including regulatory compliance, emergency preparedness, interagency coordination, safety program implementation, and capital project oversight.
Driscoll will report directly to Cape Cod Gateway Airport Manager Michael Nelson.

Cape Cod Gateway Airport is one of over 5,000 public use airports across the U.S. and one of 39 in Massachusetts designated as vital to the National Airspace System by the U.S. Department of Transportation. The airport also creates 1,724 jobs and supports a payroll of $73.8 million and $157 million a year in direct and indirect benefits.

Cape Cod Gateway Airport, located on 639 acres in Hyannis, Massachusetts, provides commercial and general aviation services to Boston, New York, the islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket and beyond.
