Cape Women in Business Announces 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Status and New Membership Program
Cape Cod, MA – September 2026 – Cape Women in Business is proud to announce that it has officially received 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, marking a significant milestone for the organization and its continued work supporting women in business across Cape Cod.
Originally co-founded by Kim Marchand and Beverley Roberts, Cape Women in Business was created to bring women from diverse industries, backgrounds, and career stages together to connect, share knowledge, and support one another. That vision continues to guide the organization today.
With its new nonprofit status, Cape Women in Business is expanding its programming and resources while launching a new membership program designed to support women at different stages of their business and professional journeys. Membership will provide additional opportunities for women to connect with one another, access resources, collaborate, and strengthen their businesses.
“Becoming a 501(c)(3) is an exciting new chapter for Cape Women in Business,” said Jennifer Brann, President of Cape Women in Business. “We’re building on the foundation created by Kim and Beverley while looking at new ways to bring women together, create meaningful connections, and provide practical support for women who want to grow.”
The organization’s programming includes Biz Bites, Coffee Connects, Trail Talks, educational workshops, Business Round Tables, and the Annual Sip & Shop, creating opportunities for networking, learning, collaboration, and professional growth.
The organization is now focused on building partnerships, expanding its programming, and developing new resources that respond to the needs of women in the local business community.
