Community Connections Welcomes New Board Appointees

South Yarmouth, MA – July 22, 2025Community Connections, a leading nonprofit serving adults with disabilities across Southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod, is pleased to announce the appointment of Melanie Cordeiro and Allison McEachern to its Board of Directors.

Melanie Cordeiro serves as Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for the Anthony F. Cordeiro Insurance Agency and Cordeiro Properties. She also holds the role of Executive Director for the Anthony F. Cordeiro Charitable Foundation. A committed civic leader, Cordeiro currently serves on the President’s Council of Southcoast Hospitals Group, the Patient and Family Advisory Council of Southcoast Health, the Southcoast Insurance Agents Association Board, and is a commissioner on the Licensing Board of the City of Fall River. She holds both a B.S. in Business Management from Providence College and an MBA from the Charlton School of Business at UMass Dartmouth.

Allison McEachern, Director of Client Experience at The Baldwin Group Northeast, rejoins the Community Connections Board with more than two decades of expertise in human resources, benefits, and organizational leadership. Formerly Chief People Officer for a nationally recognized organization, McEachern brings deep strategic insight and a strong commitment to inclusive workforce practices. A Cape Cod resident since 1992, she has been an advocate for Community Connections’ mission both personally and professionally.
