HYANNIS, MA, ISSUED April 1, 2025…… The 9th Annual Charter Cup Fishing Tournament will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at Baxter’s Fish ‘N Chips.
Since its inception in 2017, the Charter Cup Fishing Tournament has been instrumental in raising over $2.2 million for various charitable organizations in need. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the unwavering support and generosity of the community. The 9th Annual Charter Cup Fishing Tournament will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Baxter’s Fish ‘N Chips, Hyannis.
This year, the tournament continues its commitment to giving back by donating 100% of all proceeds to a diverse group of non-profit organizations. These organizations provide a wide array of essential services that touch the lives of countless individuals in the Cape Cod community and beyond. From providing emergency flights for critically ill patients to supporting physical and mental fitness programs for those in recovery, these charities are making a profound difference. They also offer vital programs for physically and mentally challenged adults, support for children and adults battling cancer, early childhood education initiatives, local law enforcement efforts, affordable housing projects, youth empowerment programs, and affordable healthcare and research for diabetes.
The 2025 charities will include Angel Flight NE, Barnstable Police K9 Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands, Cape Abilities, Cape Wellness Collaborative, Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod, Housing Assistance Corp, Joslin Diabetes Center, May Institute, Nantucket Boys & Girls Club, Special Olympics MA, Tommy’s Place, WellStrong, Yarmouth Police Foundation, and YMCA Cape Cod.
