Nicole Craven

Nicole Craven, CEO & Founder of Sing Explore Create, LLC, knows that music and arts are an essential part of the human experience, and not only for the talented or those who pursue arts-based careers.  They are essential to our wellbeing and should be more accessible to people of all ages, abilities, and in all stages of life.  She is on a mission, along with her growing team of 9+ music therapists to make sure everyone can experience connecting with others through music and the arts and gain new tools to support their mental health and wellbeing.

In both her work as a music educator and music therapist, she has supported people across the lifespan and with many different diagnoses including, but not limited to, Autism, Alzheimer’s and dementia, depression, stroke, anxiety, developmental delays, cancer, as well as pre/postpartum women.  She has also worked in many settings, spanning education and healthcare, including public/private schools, nursing/rehab facilities, early intervention, healthcare centers, and community-based programs.

Nicole’s biggest strengths as a leader in her company and community is her ability to think creatively and bring innovative approaches to the challenges in front of her.
Nicole has presented on music and the brain, social emotional learning, using music and the creative arts to create inclusive spaces, music and wellness to prevent burnout and manage stress for several local schools, community and state organizations, as well as the Museum of Science Boston.

Outside of her work at Sing Explore Create, she volunteers in the community as a Girl Scout Leader and with many local organizations, such as Carepacks and End Hunger NE.  She is a member of the current Leadership South Shore cohort and is always looking for ways to contribute positively to her community.   She enjoys traveling and spending time with her four amazing children and equally amazing husband!
