Yarmouth Port, MA – Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod is pleased to announce the appointment of five new members to its Board of Directors: Peter Brooks, retired finance executive; Charlotte Green of Cape & Coast Bank; Steve Jenney of Oceanside Restoration; Kalyn Southwood of Cape Air; and Rev. Tina Walker-Morin of First Church Sandwich, UCC.
The new directors bring a wealth of diverse experience to Habitat Cape Cod’s leadership:
Peter Brooks, who recently retired as Habitat Cape Cod’s CFO, returns to the board after previously serving two terms as Treasurer. He brings extensive financial and consulting expertise from a career that included roles at IBM and PwC.
Charlotte Green, First Vice President, Residential Mortgage Sales Manager at Cape & Coast Bank, has over 15 years of residential lending experience. She volunteers to teach financial literacy in Falmouth schools and has held multiple leadership roles with Cape Cod Young Professionals. She currently serves as a liaison between Habitat and financing applicants, reviews applications, and volunteers on build days.
- Steve Jenney, owner of Oceanside Restoration, rejoins the board after serving two previous terms, including three years as Vice Chair. Steve has grown and expanded his company across Cape Cod and the islands. He has been a long-time supporter and chairs Habitat Cape Cod’s successful Home in One Golf Tournament. Steve has been integral to the growth of Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod.
- Kalyn Southwood, Director of Benefits at Cape Air, specializes in employee benefits and organizational well-being. With over 15 years of human resources experience, Kalyn shares her deep commitment to people-centered leadership, with experience spanning benefits strategy, compliance, and employee engagement. She has been a member of Habitat Cape Cod’s Human Resources Committee since 2023.
- Rev. Tina Walker-Morin, Senior Minister at First Church Sandwich, UCC, has led her church to partner and be the anchor church with Habitat Cape Cod for a Faith Build and is actively involved in Habitat’s Faith Relations Committee. Before becoming a pastor, she was a marketing director in the nonprofit and healthcare sectors.

Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod has built nearly 200 homes from Bourne to Provincetown and is currently completing homes in Dennis and Wellfleet. In 2026, new builds in Falmouth, Brewster, and Pocasset will begin. Additional builds over the next few years are planned for Yarmouth, Marstons Mills, Orleans, and North Falmouth. Qualifying families are selected via drawing. Future homeowners contribute sweat equity by helping build their homes alongside local volunteers, and then they purchase their homes with an affordable mortgage. Habitat Cape Cod has been nationally recognized for building energy-efficient, affordable homes. All homes are deed-restricted to remain affordable in perpetuity.
