April 22, 2025 (Cape Cod, MA) – With Massachusetts setting aggressive goals to reduce carbon emissions over the next 25 years, the Cape Cod Technology Council will welcome Cape Cod Heat Pumps CEO Jared Grier who will explain what these targets will mean for homeowners and business owners at its next First Friday on May 2nd, 7:30 to 9 am, at Cape Cod Community College.
“We’re excited to welcome Jared for a talk on a topic of critical importance to the state’s efforts to attain net-zero by 2050,” said Technology Council Executive Director Michael White. “Heat pumps will play a major role in those efforts and is a way each of us can contribute to reducing our impacts on the environment.”

His career began as a technician, managing the installation of boilers and air conditioning, and associated trades, including sheet metal, rough plumbing, electrical, and control systems.
Over the past nine years, he has grown his company to one that now employs nearly two dozen people and manages the full installation and service of HVAC systems throughout Cape Cod.
He holds a Universal EPA License, Master and Journeyman Sheet Metal License, and his company is a licensed Mass Electrical and Sheet Metal Contractor.
