Cape Cod, MA — December 2025 — KAM Appliances has been recognized with two distinguished awards celebrating its exceptional commitment to community leadership and philanthropy on Cape Cod.
KAM received the Outstanding Business/Organization Award from Philanthropy Partners of the Cape & Islands (PPCI) and the Building Community Award from the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Cape Cod (HBRACC), underscoring KAM’s long-standing dedication to strengthening lives, families, and neighborhoods across the region.
The Outstanding Business/Organization Award was presented the 28th Annual Philanthropy Day on Cape Cod, hosted by Philanthropy Partners of the Cape & Islands on November 19, 2025. This prestigious award recognizes a business or organization that demonstrates exceptional commitment through financial support, leadership, and inspiring others to advance philanthropy in response to local needs.
In addition to the Philanthropy Partners of the Cape & Islands honor, KAM was recognized with the Building Community Award at HBRACC’s 2025 Annual Meeting on December 16 in Hyannis. This award is given to a member who consistently builds community through philanthropic efforts, transforms lives, and promotes a positive image of Cape Cod’s building industry.
KAM Appliances was recognized for its impactful partnership with Habitat for Humanity, including the donation of brand-new, energy-efficient appliances for Habitat homes, event sponsorships, and hands-on volunteerism.
“We are so lucky to have so many philanthropic members,” said Stefanie Coxe, Executive Officer of the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Cape Cod. “As we head into a Habitat Blitz Build year, we felt it was especially appropriate to recognize KAM Appliances for the way they partner with our friends at Habitat for Humanity. KAM donates all of the brand-new, energy-efficient appliances that make Habitat houses feel like true homes — from dishwashers, refrigerators, and ranges to washers and dryers that support families every day.”
Coxe added that KAM’s commitment extends far beyond appliance donations. “KAM Appliances also proudly sponsors Habitat events, participates in hands-on team build days to help construct the homes, and even shares their leadership through an employee who serves on Habitat’s board.”
KAM’s broader community impact also includes hosting hands-on cooking classes with generous grocery gift cards for veterans, and supporting local food entrepreneurs through the Cape Cod Culinary Incubator — initiatives that reflect the company’s belief in strengthening families, empowering veterans, and nurturing small businesses.
