Mashpee Commons Announces Holiday Season Event Schedule

MASHPEE, Mass., November 19 – Mashpee Commons will kick o? the holiday season on Saturday, November 23, hosting free, family-friendly activities through December 23. This year’s festivities include the 18th annual Mashpee Chamber Holiday Parade – the only nighttime holiday parade on Cape Cod, a tree lighting ceremony, photos with Santa, caroling, and a holiday Instagram contest. Featured activities include:

  • The Mashpee Chamber Holiday Parade: Saturday, December 14, at 6 p.m. sponsored by the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce. Rain date: Sunday, December 15.
  • Tree Lighting Ceremony: Friday, November 29, from 3:30 – 5 p.m. at the plaza outside of Siena restaurant, featuring caroling, a brass band, and holiday treats.
  • Photos with Santa: Santa’s Village at 41 Steeple Street, next to Pottery Barn. Scheduled appearances from November 29 to December 22 on select dates.
  • Caroling and Brass Band Performances: November 29 through December 23, on weekends and select weekdays throughout the Commons.
  • Mashpee Holiday Stroll: Saturday, December 14, from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m., prior to the parade, with in-store specials and holiday music.
  • Holiday Instagram Photo Contest: Weekly from November 29 through December 27. Each Friday, a holiday photo tagged with #MashpeeHoliyay will be selected to win a $100 gift card to a Commons merchant of the winner’s choice.
