South Yarmouth, MA – Mid-Cape Athletic Club (MCAC) will host a multi-day fundraising event for
Andreas Kuehn and his family on May 16th through May 18th. The three-day event features a group
fitness class, a tennis competition, and a community party with a silent auction.
Kuehn, a cherished tennis pro at MCAC, was recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and is currently at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston undergoing treatment. Kuehn will require a bone marrow transplant in the future. It is expected that he will be out of work for 5-6 months. To support Andreas and his family, MCAC has set a goal of raising $100,000 to help cover medical expenses and support daily living costs.
The Rally for a Cure fundraiser will be comprised of several events over the 3-day period:
Friday, May 16 | Groove & Give Fitness Class
Location & Time: Mid Cape Athletic Club, 193 Whites Path, South Yarmouth, from 6-6:45 PM
Description: A fun, high-energy fitness fundraising class.

Saturday, May 17 | Rally for a Cure Round Robin
Location & Time: Mid Cape Athletic Club, 193 Whites Path, South Yarmouth, all day
Description: Guaranteed 2 matches per team. 8 Game Pro-Sets. $100 per player includes a T-shirt and entry to a fundraising party on Sunday at Auld Triangle. Players will be matched by skill level.

Saturday, May 17 | Pro Exhibition
Location & Time: Mid Cape Athletic Club, 193 Whites Path, South Yarmouth, from 5-7 PM
Description: Region’s top tennis players go head-to-head in high-energy matches. Food provided by Osteria La Civetta and live music after the exhibition.
Sunday, May 18th | Auld Triange Fundraising Party
Location & Time: Auld Triangle, 412 Main Street, Hyannis, from 4-6 PM
Description: Buffet and cash bar, live music, and silent auction. Tickets can be purchased at the door or at the link below.
