KINGSTON, QUINCY, BROCKTON, NEW BEDFORD, TAUNTON, FALL RIVER, MA ISSUED DECEMBER 29, 2025…NeighborWorks® Housing Solutions (NHS; www.nhsmass.org) proudly announces that Chief Operating Officer Angelica Gomez was the recipient of a Community Leadership Award during the inaugural ALPFA Boston NEXT 50 awards ceremony.

Held on December 4th, the landmark event celebrated Latino leaders and allies whose achievements uplift the Latino community today while shaping the future of leadership and influence far beyond.
 
Gomez was honored with a Community Leadership Award in recognition of her impact on housing and community development and praised for service, advocacy, and mentorship that opens doors for others to succeed.
 
A member of the NHS team since 2015, Gomez was named the organization’s first Chief Operating Officer in July of 2022. In this leadership role, she has been instrumental in streamlining internal processes and elevating the visibility of NHS as a leader in affordable housing.
 
Gomez received a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology from Los Andes University in Bogota, Columbia, and her Master of Science in Human Services from Northeastern University.
