NeighborWorks Housing Solutions (NHS), the leading housing service provider in southern Massachusetts, raised more than $250.000 during its recent “Opening Doors, Changing Lives” Gala, held at Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy.
The annual fundraising event brought together community leaders, supporters, and friends in support of the organization’s mission of providing housing assistance and other critical services.
The well-attended gala featured cocktails, dinner, entertainment, a silent auction, games, and prizes. The event successfully raised funds to support NeighborWorks Housing Solutions’ programs, including rental assistance, emergency financial help, shelter and homelessness prevention, first-time homebuyer education and counseling, and the construction and management of high-quality rental housing across southern Massachusetts.
The dinner hour was highlighted by remarks from several state political dignitaries including Senators John F. Keenan and Paul R. Feeney and Representative James K. Hawkins.
“We were delighted to see such an amazing turnout at our ‘Opening Doors, Changing Lives’ Gala,” said Robert Corley, CEO of NeighborWorks Housing Solutions. “A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and special gratitude to our many event sponsors who time and again have gone the extra mile to support our mission.”
Wells Fargo, NEI General Contracting, Curtis Construction, Bank of Canton, North Easton Savings Bank, Dedham Savings, Rockland Trust, and Dellbrook/JKS were among the many sponsors of the Gala.
