Quincy Memorials, Inc. Acquires L.E. Cook Monument Company

QUINCY, KINGSTON, ABINGTON, NEWTON CENTRE, WALTHAM, WOBURN, PLYMOUTH, MA, ISSUED SEPTEMBER 29, 2025…Quincy Memorials, doing business as The Quincy Memorials Group, a leading provider of enduring monuments with six locations in the greater Boston area, today announced acquisition of L. E. Cook Monument Company of Plymouth, Massachusetts.
L.E. Cook Monument Company 
The company, founded over four decades ago, is known for specializing in custom monuments and memorials. With this acquisition, Quincy Memorials will integrate L.E. Cook’s operations into its Kingston location, ensuring continuity of service.

Cook Monument Company served the Plymouth area community for more than 40 years and has had multiple owners dating back to 1882, and now, under our ownership and brand, its reputation for crafting customized memorials will continue,” said Jeffrey M. Poirier, president and CEO of Quincy Memorials.
 
The acquisition marks yet another expansion for Quincy Memorials, reinforcing its dedication to craftsmanship, community, and compassionate service throughout Massachusetts. Quincy Memorials recently acquired Roessler & Sons Memorials. The Woburn company has been rebranded as Woburn Roessler Memorials and retains its location at 117 Salem Street in Woburn.
