MARSHFIELD, MA, ISSUED MAY 5, 2026… Road to Responsibility (RTR; http://roadtoresponsibility.org), one of the region’s largest and most successful nonprofit organizations supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is proud to announce that it has been named a 2026 Best Place to Work by the Boston Business Journal in the 500 or more employee category.
The Boston Business Journal’s annual exclusive ranking showcases the Massachusetts companies that have built outstanding work environments for their employees. The 90 companies honored in 2026 range in size and industry, with winners from various sectors, including financial, technology, retail, and health care.
“Recognition on the BBJ Best Places to Work list is more than an accolade; it affirms the strong and supportive culture that drives our mission and our remarkable team,” said Christopher T. White, Ed.D., president and CEO of Road to Responsibility. “We are truly honored by this acknowledgement and will continue to nurture a workplace where each and every person is seen, heard, and inspired.”
The businesses that met criteria for office location and size participated in employee-engagement surveys. Employees were asked to rate their work environment, work-life balance, job satisfaction, advancement opportunities, management, compensation, and benefits. Based on the results of the survey, businesses were assigned a score out of 100% and ranked by data-management company Quantum.
“This year’s companies once again have set the bar for employees looking to retain their top talent,” said Carolyn Jones, Market President and Publisher of the Boston Business Journal. “In such a competitive hiring environment, the Best Places to Work employers continue to outshine their peers and competitors.”
The Best Places to Work celebration will be held in-person on June 11th at The Westin Copley Place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The special publication will appear in the June 12th weekly edition of the Boston Business Journal.
