March 18, 2026, Falmouth, MA – The Falmouth Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual Outstanding Citizen of the Year Award Banquet on Thursday May 21, 2026, at The Sea Crest Beach Hotel, 350 Quaker Road, North Falmouth. The Main Sponsor of the event is our Community Partner, Cape Cod 5, with a Supporting Sponsorship from The Steamship Authority.
The 2026 Outstanding Citizen of the Year Award will be bestowed upon Falmouth resident, community volunteer, and food equality advocate Ron Nunes. The Advisory Board of the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce cited Mr. Nune’s dedication to the Falmouth community over a period of many years, making him the outstanding nominee to be selected as the Outstanding Citizen of the Year.

When there is a neighbor in need, Ron is always there to help”.
