Harwich, MA – The Children’s Center, a non-profit affordable childcare organization in Harwich, is excited to announce Seals in the Park 2025, a creative fundraiser that will help raise money for their early childhood education program. This event, in collaboration with Harwich Cultural Districts, invites community members to bid on beautifully crafted wooden seals, each designed by local artists, with all proceeds directly benefiting The Children’s Center and the families it serves.

The Seals in the Park fundraiser will take place from June 1st to August 31st, 2025, with the seals displayed throughout various public locations around Harwich. Each seal will be showcased along with information about the artist and a QR code, allowing participants to place their bids silently and conveniently online. The winners will be announced at the beginning of September, with the seals delivered directly to their new owners.

This campaign offers a fun, interactive, and meaningful way to support The Children’s Center and the families of Harwich and beyond. “We are thrilled to bring together our community, local artists, and supporters to raise funds for such a vital cause,” says The Children Center’s Director, Abigail Newberry- West. “Together, we can make a significant impact on our community!”

The event will kickoff at The Children’s Center Birthday Party on June 1st from 12pm to 2pm at The 204 Cultural Center, located at 204 Sisson Road, Harwich MA 02645. In addition to the seals display, the event will also feature Cape Cod Masquerade Face Paint, Amazin’ Gamin Truck and Laser Tag, Good Times Ice Cream Truck, HPD and Chatham Fire Touch a Truck, and more! All are welcome to attend, and the event will take place rain or shine.
