Tech Council Partners with Pioneers and Legends to Bring Fireside Chat to Chatham Bars Inn on August 20th

Acclaimed author and futurist Ben Pring of Falmouth will sit down with
brand strategist Larry Gulko to discuss all things tech and AI

August 8, 2025 (Cape Cod, MA) – The Cape Cod Technology Council is excited to partner with Pioneers and Legends to bring a fascinating conversation on tech and AI to the Chatham Bars Inn on Wednesday, August 20th, 5-7 pm. The two organizations will be presenting a fireside chat between acclaimed author, futurist, and thought leader Ben Pring of Falmouth, and Larry Gulko of Boston, a renowned brand strategist, public speaker, and thought leader.

“One of last year’s highlights for the Technology Council was a talk led by Ben Pring in which he spoke about the hope and concerns that a future of AI will bring to our lives, our communities, and our world,” said Tech Council Executive Director Michael White. “We’re looking forward to this month’s conversation in which Larry Gulko will be able to dive deeper into the topic of how technology will change our lives for the better as well as the potential risks of a society permeated by AI.”

White also shared his enthusiasm for the new collaboration with Pioneers and Legends, which is based in Naples, Florida, and is expanding its senior business leadership and networking program to Cape Cod.

“This is really a great opportunity to bring executives, entrepreneurs, and innovators together for a night of networking, inspiration, and education,” said John P. Calamia, founder of Pioneers and Legends. “Together, Ben and Larry offer insight into ways technology is impacting and will impact the way we live and work.”

Pring is a winner of the Gartner’s Thought Leader Award, a Bilderberg Meeting participant, and a member of Harvard Law School’s Labor and Work Life Program Advisory Board. He was named one of 30 leading management thinkers by Thinkers 50.

A vice president at Gartner, Pring’s work has been covered in major publications, including Harvard Business Review, Wall Street Journal, London Times, Financial Times, PBS’s News Hour, and NPR’s On Point.

Gulko is the creator and facilitator of BRAND: NEW DAY, a strategic brand-building thought leadership retreat, designed for executives and senior leadership teams to take a deep-dive, fresh look at their company’s brand and identify levers that drive value creation to drive brand leadership, ignite customer loyalty, and supercharge business growth.

He moderates the annual CEO Brand Leadership Roundtable at the Harvard Business School which has showcased over 50 CEOs of leading global brands.
