Nine Employees Recognized for Expanded Leadership Roles
Hyannis, Mass. (July 8, 2025) – The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod has announced nine promotions in recognition of outstanding contributions and dedication to the organization.

Their contributions reflect The Coop’s commitment to investing in both our team and the communities we serve.”
Promotions recently approved by the Bank’s Board of Directors include:
• Carlyn Carey, Senior Vice President, Corporate Counsel and Compliance Officer.
Carey is recognized for her vast experience in regulatory compliance, third-party risk management, contract oversight, internal audit, and information security. A recipient of the bank’s Leadership Award, she drives cross-functional initiatives and serves as a trusted advisor to senior management and the Board.
• Laurie Maul, Senior Vice President, Human Resources Officer.
Maul delivers strategic leadership in human resources, shaping hybrid work strategies and strengthening employee engagement. She has improved key processes such as incentive compensation, benefit evaluation, and succession planning, while ensuring compliance with evolving employment regulations. Her leadership has been instrumental in embedding the bank’s vision and values into its culture.
• Pat Coffey, First Vice President, Senior Commercial Credit Underwriter.
Coffey has more than 25 years of banking experience. She is recognized for her expertise and leadership in loan structuring, credit policy, and regulatory compliance. Her strong internal partnerships, adaptability to shifting priorities, and client-focused approach have been key to advancing the bank’s strategic objectives.
• Melissa Marder, Vice President, Customer Assistance Center Manager.
Marder manages the Customer Assistance Center and has led key initiatives such as implementing the Call Tower system, introducing a mobile scheduling platform, and launching the Guided Interactive Live Assistant (GILA) virtual assistant and live agent chat to improve digital engagement. Her operational focus has strengthened the bank’s service culture.
• Lisa Cusolito, Assistant Vice President, Government Banking Specialist.
With 22 years dedicated to government banking, Cusolito is a trusted advisor to The Coop’s municipal clients and a recognized leader in her field. Her deep operational knowledge and commitment to delivering responsive service have helped grow the bank’s public-sector business.
• Jessica Terry, Assistant Vice President, Cash Management Specialist.
Terry has been instrumental in advancing The Coop’s cash management capabilities. She played a central role in the design and rollout of new treasury management solutions, led client training sessions to boost adoption and retention, and continues to support commercial customers with guidance on cash management products and services.
• Christine Damery, Senior Marketing Coordinator, Officer.
Damery brings a comprehensive understanding of marketing paired with strong collaboration across departments. Known for her customer-first mindset, Damery aligns marketing initiatives with the bank’s mission and institutional priorities. Her work supports brand management, campaign execution, and internal communications.
• Joyce Lambert, Executive Administration Coordinator, Officer.
Lambert plays a key role supporting the CEO’s Office and managing corporate governance activities and communications with board members, corporators, clients, and community leaders. Known for her strong organizational skills and proactive approach, Lambert ensures smooth operations by anticipating needs and preparing accordingly.
• Alex Taylor, Senior Human Resources Specialist, Officer.
Taylor is a human resources specialist with experience in employee onboarding, training, and professional development. With thorough knowledge of the bank’s HR systems, including payroll and workforce management platforms, Taylor is integral to training new hires as well as newly promoted supervisors and managers.
