HYANNIS, MA, ISSUED July 2, 2026…… On Thursday, June 25, 2026, the 6th Annual Little Big Fishing Tournament raised $155,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod and the Islands, marking another successful year.

This year’s tournament welcomed 33 boats and 190 anglers, who spent the day fishing the waters of Cape Cod before gathering at Baxter’s Fish ‘N Chips for an evening of celebration, camaraderie, and giving back. Hosted by longtime tournament partner Baxter’s Fish ‘N Chips, the post-tournament festivities featured an exciting live auction, raffle drawings, awards presentation, and recognition of the tournament’s many sponsors, volunteers, and supporters. Adult and junior anglers were honored for catching the tournament’s largest striped bass and bluefish, capping off a memorable day on the water.

The tournament’s success reflects the generosity of the Cape Cod community and its shared commitment to creating brighter futures for local children. Since its inception in 2021, the Little Big Fishing Tournament has raised over $1,012,000 to support the life-changing mentoring programs offered by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands.

“Since we launched the tournament in 2021, our community has helped us raise more than one million dollars for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod & the Islands,” said E.J. Jaxtimer. “That kind of impact is only possible because of our incredible sponsors, donors, volunteers, and everyone who believes in investing in the next generation. We are truly grateful for the continued support.”
