Filed Under: Business, All News & Posts

SANDWICH, Mass., July 27, 2026 – The Town of Sandwich invites seasonal and year-round residents and other local stakeholders, such as business and property owners, to share their perspectives on short-term rentals through a new community survey available on the Town’s website. The survey will be open from July 27-September 14, 2026.

The survey seeks input on topics such as housing availability, tourism impacts, potential regulations, and economic benefits. The feedback will help guide future Town of Sandwich policies and ensure that short-term regulations balance economic opportunity with neighborhood well-being.

“We want to hear directly from the people who live and work here,” said Leanne Drake, the Town of Sandwich Director of Community Development. “Your insights will help us create fair, effective, and sustainable approaches to short-term rentals.”

For a hard copy of the survey, please contact the Planning and Development Department at 508-833-8001 or 100 Route 6A.
