YARMOUTH PORT, MA (Tuesday, November 18, 2025) – The Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce and the Historical Society of Old Yarmouth are delighted to announce the return of the annual Yarmouth Port Christmas Stroll on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Route 6A in Yarmouth Port will once again be transformed into a festive winter wonderland, centering on tradition, history, and the making of treasured family memories.
The Stroll, a cherished holiday event, offers a variety of free activities and entertainment for all ages, thanks in part to the generous support of local businesses and sponsors, including Platinum Sponsor, Rockland Trust. This event is held rain or shine.
“The Yarmouth Port Christmas Stroll fills Route 6A with cheerful holiday music, smiles, and laughter,” said Amie Medeiros, Marketing, Communications and Events Director for the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce. “We love seeing our businesses come together to create a joyous family event, highlighted by special treats and unique specials that truly reflect the community spirit of Yarmouth Port.”
Highlights of the 2025 Yarmouth Port Christmas Stroll Include:
- Festive Transportation: Enjoy a ride on the complimentary trolley running from Harvest of Barnstable to the Yarmouth Port Fire Station.
- Musical Performances: Attendees can enjoy performances from Dickens Carolers, a Bell Choir, a Brass Band, a Guitarist, and a Celtic Harpist.
- Family Activities: Keep an eye out for exciting entertainers, including a Face Painter, Caricature Artist, Balloon Twister, Magician, Juggler, and Strolling Characters. The event will also feature an Animal Petting Zoo on the green.
- Local Businesses: Participating businesses along Route 6A and beyond will be offering special holiday treats, refreshments, and unique offers.
The Stroll culminates with a heartwarming tree lighting ceremony on the Village Green at 4:15 p.m., featuring carols led by the Dickens Carolers.
The Yarmouth Port Christmas Stroll is sponsored in part by the Town of Yarmouth’s Tourism Revenue Preservation Fund. Stroll maps and programs will be available online and at participating businesses closer to the event date.
