Paul Revere Day Celebration

Falmouth Museums on the Green In Partnership with the First Congregational Church of Falmouth.
This special event celebrates the 225th anniversary of the church’s bell made by Paul Revere. It features a rare public viewing of the receipt signed by Paul Revere on November 30, 1796 for the church’s purchase of the bell and includes remarks by local historian Kenneth Peal and Reverend Jonathan Drury, along with a reading of Katharine Lee Bates’ poem The Falmouth Bell.
Guest appearances by Paul Revere and Katharine Lee Bates!
Refreshments will follow in the church’s Fellowship Hall, where photographs of the bell will be on display.
