Boston (12/17/23) – The Children’s Trust, dedicated to ending child abuse and neglect in Massachusetts, awarded Centerville resident Anne Bailey Berman with the Community Partnership Award at its annual training conference, A View from All Sides. The Community Partnership Award recognizes an individual or organization that has demonstrated a commitment to the mission of the Children’s Trust. Berman has developed strong and long-lasting relationships, understands our shared responsibility to support families and children, and has directly impacted the goals of the Children’s Trust.

Her support has been instrumental in helping us build strong connections with funders and critical partners that help move our work forward” said Jennifer Valenzuela, Executive Director of the Children’s Trust. “Anne’s generosity, both in spirit and in action, has made an incredible impact on our organization. Her passion and commitment to the well-being of children and families inspire us all. Thanks to her partnership, we have been able to reach more families and amplify the work we do every day.”
Berman is the co-founder and former Chair/CEO of Chadwick Martin Bailey (CMB), “Top 50” market research firms in the United States. Earlier in her career, Berman worked in the communication industry as Vice President at American Cablesystems and in television news as an early female television news reporter. She has served as the chief spokesperson for three state agencies, and taught communication, broadcasting and marketing at Louisiana State University and Boston University. Her other business involvements included chairing four committees for the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and serving on the Cape Cod Five Saving Bank Board.
Berman served on the Massachusetts Educational Telecommunications Board and chaired the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology and the Old North Foundation Boards for many years. Berman presently serves on the Madison Park Foundation, Technology Goes Home, the Cape Cod Speakers Series, and the LSU National Board. Until recently, she served on the Massachusetts Children’s Trust Board.
Berman has also received the Pinnacle Award for Entrepreneurship by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and the Third Lantern Award by the Old North Foundation.
The Children’s Trust is the host of A View from All Sides, New England’s premier family support conference. This two-day conference brings together local experts in child abuse prevention, family support, and parent education to learn from one another and help prevent child abuse and neglect in Massachusetts.
