FALMOUTH, MA, January 27, 2025 – The 2025 Falmouth Citizen of the Year nomination form is now available at the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce, 20 Academy Lane, or by download from the website homepage: falmouthchamber.com. Entries must be received by March 1st, 2025. Only nominations received this year will be reviewed by the Board of Directors. However, nominations from prior years can be re-submitted for consideration. A list of past honorees is included on the nomination form.
Nominees must live or work in Falmouth and their activities should be centered here. The Citizen of the Year will be recognized for leadership and performance above and beyond the scope of their paid profession, and they do not have to be a member of the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce. The selection will be made based on a nominee’s broad range of activities over the course of more than a year that will have a lasting impact on the Falmouth community. The award is not given for a single activity, no matter how well executed, and is not presented posthumously.
