WEYMOUTH, MA, ISSUED JUNE 4, 2025…The Arc of the South Shore, a family-oriented, community-based non-profit providing information, referrals, and community programs for individuals with disabilities, is counting down to June 12th when its Annual Summer Soiree is set to dazzle once again, bringing together an anticipated 250 guests for an unforgettable evening of celebration, philanthropy, and fashion.
The Summer Soiree brings together members of the public, local businesses, community leaders, restaurants, and spirit providers for a festive evening of camaraderie. Most importantly, it celebrates the individuals and families that The Arc has supported for the past 74 years.
Set against the stunning backdrop of Webb State Park at 371 River Street in North Weymouth, the highly anticipated Summer Soiree this year will include a fashion show featuring apparel from Milton’s in Braintree and Lyn Evans in Norwell and stylish selections from the Mav Life and Kona brands – all modeled by Arc staff and individuals served by the non-profit.

Produced by sponsors Next on Scene Media, a marketing agency in Everett, Massachusetts, HumanKind Casting, a talent agency in Boston, and Pink Chair Storytellers Magazine, based in Kingston, the exciting showcase will exemplify the power of partnerships in uplifting and supporting The Arc of the South Shore’s mission.
The signature event is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, when guests will indulge in a full evening of gourmet cuisine, sip on specialty cocktails, fine wine, and craft beer, all while enjoying live music, an exciting array of auction and raffle items – and a fashion show!
Proceeds from the popular event will assist the Arc in delivering programs and safe, engaging opportunities to improve the health, safety, and independence of the nearly 5,000 individuals and families the non-profit serves annually.
