Career background / highlights: Over 15 years ago I started my career as a teller for Cape Cod Five. I was surrounded by managers and supervisors who helped me learn and progress through the company. This allowed me to quickly move up the ranks, soaking up as much knowledge as possible along the way. I am currently a Banking Center Manager at our Orleans Banking Center. I hold the designation of Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional (FPQP).
Community commitment: I am a member of the WE CAN Finance Committee, I volunteer at the Credit for Life Fairs, Cape Cod Young Professionals, and have been involved with the Harwich Chamber events.
Favorite professional moment: I enjoy mentoring people and helping them grow in the company. One of my favorite examples was having the opportunity to mentor an employee who started at entry level as a teller and has since advanced in her career.
Who is your role model / mentor? I have always been supported by my parents, husband and family. Professionally, I have been lucky to have had many wonderful mentors throughout my career.
What mistake has taught you the most? I learned the importance of being able to adapt and change directions quickly. The best solutions come when working together as a team.
What one book has impacted your life? “The 5 Second Rule” by Mel Robbins.
What is your superpower? My ability to learn and adapt.
Where can you be found on the weekends? On weekends I spend time with my husband and two boys hiking, camping and enjoying time together.
