Shipwrecks of the Sound: Cause, Response, Prevention

Captain Greg Ketchen served as a Coast Guard officer for 27 years and is currently a volunteer at the Coast Guard Heritage Museum, serving as its president. Greg will discuss the history and causes of shipwrecks in Nantucket Sound, marine emergencies response efforts, and origins of the Coast Guard’s Search and Rescue Mission.
