We build a business’s image through its accomplishments and news
New business won’t come your way if customers have never heard of you or know what you have to offer. Public Relations is a means of showcasing something in a new and better light. PR helps define a business in positive terms and positions the company as an industry leader. A PR campaign tells a company’s story through the news media. PR leverages the power of newspapers, magazines, trade journals, web sites, and the cyber media to boost a company’s visibility and credibility. If you are a business owner, a PR campaign will let thousands of readers and viewers know who you are, what your business is, and why they should utilize your services.

You might ask, “Isn’t that what an ad campaign does?”
Not exactly. PR offers a third-person credibility that is missing in ad campaigns. Don’t misunderstand; we’re not suggesting that you cancel your ad campaigns. Advertising is very important to the success of a business! But there is a difference between advertising and PR. When people read advertisements, they know that someone paid to have that particular message published. When people read, on the other hand, that XYZ company just posted a 25% increase in revenues, developed a new mousetrap, hired a new CFO or was just named “Citizen of the Year,” they know that it comes from a third-party source in this case, a newspaper or magazine. We leave the “10% off” and the “July 4th sale” items to the advertising folks. We instead concentrate on building a business’s image through its accomplishments and its news. Many businesses don’t take advantage of the benefits of a public relations campaign.
