‘Hello South Shore’ Campaign Targets Regional Economic Recovery

The South Shore Chamber of Commerce (www.southshorechamber.org) has launched a Hello! South Shore campaign to assist in the regional recovery from the economic impact of COVID-19.

The project encourages residents to think of “local” as more than just their own neighborhood or town and promote broader exploration in the region. Through a robust marketing campaign spotlighting many excursions across the 25 cities and towns throughout the South Shore, the project will spotlight arts, culture, history, outdoors, food, shops, recreation, holiday events, farmers markets and neighborhoods across the South Shore.

As a result of receiving a Regional Pilot Project Grant through the Massachusetts Office of Business Development, the chamber is partnering with local towns, businesses and organizations to create a series of 15 excursions, which began on June 18, and will run throughout the summer. The chamber has also partnered with local talent to promote the campaign.

Some upcoming excursions include July 17, Hingham and Norwell: July 24 Cohasset; Aug. 7, Norwell and Hanover and Aug. 6 through August 8, Scituate.

Some events require registration. For additional details and information visit www.hellosouthshore.com
