Career background / highlights: I was born on Cape Cod and raised both on Cape and in Tehran, Iran. In addition to working at Cape Cod 5, I speak Farsi, am a competitive 5K runner, and have played the drums since 1999.
Community commitment: Cape Cod Community College Educational Foundation Board, Cape Cod Young Professionals, Shea’s Youth Basketball Association.
Favorite professional moment: Every day I help people achieve their dreams of home ownership working for the number one lender in the region, Cape Cod 5, an organization rooted in the community and a company that always supports me. Musically, I’ve been fortunate to play with many incredible musicians, some of whom I consider to be among the best in the world.
Who is your role model / mentor? My wife Sarah, my parents Linda and Mehdi, and my mentors – my late grandfather, Bob Hayes; my late bandmate Lou Colombo; my friend and current bandmate Bert Jackson, and my trainer Keith Putnam – six amazing people who rose/rise to every occasion, believed in me, and changed my life.
What mistake has taught you the most? I surround myself with the most talented people and only accept advice from those who are the very best at what they do.
What one book has impacted your life? Not listed.
What is your superpower? Reliability and responsiveness.
Where can you be found on the weekends? At my home office helping mortgage customers, spending time with my wife, Sarah, and our dog, Luna, and training for the 2021 Boston Marathon.
