Outer Cape Health Services Announces Kate Swanson as New Chief Strategy Officer

Wellfleet, Mass., November 18, 2024 – Outer Cape Health Services, a federally qualified community health center with locations in Harwich Port, Provincetown, and Wellfleet, has appointed Kate Swanson as its Chief Strategy OKicer. With more than two decades of experience in health care management and strategic development, Swanson will play a critical role in advancing the organization’s mission of providing care to the Outer Cape community.

 

As Chief Strategy OKicer, Swanson will be responsible for supporting the organization’s strategic planning eKorts, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring all initiatives align with Outer Cape Health Services’ commitment to delivering high-quality, accessible care. The Chief Strategy OKicer is an integral role within the executive leadership team, driving implementation of the organization’s strategic objectives for the future.

 

Swanson is an accomplished industry professional with proven expertise in guiding healthcare systems through transformative changes. Most recently, she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating OKicer at North Shore Community Health Center in Salem, Mass., where she restructured operations to enhance the delivery of patient focused care. She has also served in roles of increasing responsibility at Mass General Brigham, including Program Manager for Practice Support, Patient Centered Medical Home Consultant and Program Manager of Quality Reporting and Analytics.

Swanson holds an M.B.A. in Healthcare Policy and Management from Brandeis University’s Heller School and a B.A. from Stonehill College. Additionally, she has pursued professional development in Social Impact Management and Leadership through the Institute for Nonprofit Practice.
