SOUTH YARMOUTH — The Falmouth Fund of The Cape Cod Foundation recently announced its
2025 grant recipients, awarding $116,675 to 25 nonprofit organizations supporting several areas of
community life: health and human services; education, youth, and recreation; and arts and culture.
Sharon Nunes, Chair of The Falmouth Fund Advisory Committee, said, “We are still seeing a
tremendous need for services for members of our community. Housing shortages, food insecurity,
and general economic challenges have impacted individuals as well as the nonprofits that serve them.
We support many of the nonprofits working in these essential areas, as well as those bringing art,
music, theatre and other cultural experiences to Falmouth. Without the continued generosity of
donors, we could not provide funds for these organizations. Every dollar raised provides critical
support.”
Since 2010, The Falmouth Fund has invested over $1.3 million in more than 100 nonprofits serving
the Falmouth community
Nunes added, “In my tenure with The Falmouth Fund, I have seen the growth and continued impact
nonprofits have in our community. We are humbled by the work they do every day and are honored
to support them.”
