Employees are encouraged to submit grant requests to Management for additional training or education. These company grants are almost always approved.
Promoting from within is common practice at White Wood Kitchens. Through additional education and mentoring of team members are encouraged and challenged to take on more responsibility in all roles.
We believe that moving up in the organization is best practice whenever possible.
Just this week White Wood Kitchen employees were treated to an evening of Axe throwing at House- Axe Throwing followed by dinner at Cork and Table in Plymouth. 17 White Wood Kitchens employees were treated to this fun event. It is always such a great opportunity for all employees to get together and meet in a fun out-of-work atmosphere.
Employees have been treated to everything from trips to Nantucket to weekends in Boston. As an organization, we look forward to quality time outside of the workplace. Spouses and families are often invited which adds to our family atmosphere.
Communication is a core principle behind White Wood Kitchens success. Sometimes we consider ourselves over communicators if that is possible. Whether it be with employee's , build partners, vendors or clients we pride ourselves on open transparent communication at all times.
Our owners have invested in a software communication system where all employees are required to post daily. This keeps all members of our time updated on ongoing projects at all levels of the process. Keeping all Team Members in loop of ongoing projects is imperative in running smooth cohesive jobsites and projects.
White Wood Kitchens is the most generous organization I have ever had the privilege to be a part of.
We donate on a regular basis to The Coalition for the Homeless in Kingston as well as the food pantry.
We are a leading supporter of Habitat for Humanity . We are involved in several projects on Cape Cod and have support the Habit Blitz Build for over 8 years. We traditionally donate kitchen cabinetry and bathroom vanities. Affordable housing is a passion of all of us at White Wood Kitchens and in addition to product we as a team participate by volunteering both our time and building skills to such projects.
We support Toys for Tots annually and as a Veteran owned organization, we are involved in several veteran charities.
