26th Annual Philanthropy Day Taking Place Nov. 15

The Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands i26th annual Philanthropy Day on Cape Cod will take place next Wednesday, Nov. 15,  at the Cape Cod Irish Village at the Emerald Resort and Conference Center, 35 Scudder Ave., Hyannis from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Professionals from nonprofit organizations on Cape Cod and the Islands, their volunteers and board members, as well as professional advisors who attend the premier philanthropy conference on Cape Cod to share current best practices in fundraising and celebrate charitable giving! Each year, this prestigious high-profile conference attracts hundreds of attendees from across the region.
James Morton, retired President and CEO of the YMCA of Greater Boston will give the keynote address, “30 for 30: Leadership and Legacy.” He will share how the first 30 years of his life significantly influenced his second 30 years.
In addition, the 2023 Distinguished Service to Philanthropy Awards will be presented to:
  • West Barnstable resident David Troutman – Outstanding Volunteer.
  • The ArtWorks Program of the MassHire Cape & Islands Workforce Board – Outstanding Youth Organization.
  • Polhemus Savery DaSilva Architects Builders (PSD) of East Harwich – Outstanding Business/Organization.
  • Chatham resident Craig Morong – Outstanding Philanthropist.
Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, including premier sponsor Cape Cod 5, the event is the organization’s top fundraiser of the year. The cost to attend Philanthropy Day is $100 for guests and $75 for PPCI members. Reserved tables of 10 are also available.
